The tool works fine until the soft coating wears. After that, use a  
bit of tape on the under side toward the paint.
	However, I  simply hold the arm with left hand, and tilt/lift the  
cap off the drum. It hurts a little to do it this way, but it works  
every time and I don't need tools.
   There's a subtle bit of press with the thumbs while lifting right  
right hand fingers.  -ron 65,66
