I think we were talking about the 53 Vette, right ?  That was quite a 
different animal.  You couldn't even get a stick shift in 53.

When you consider the tanks that buyers were expecting, the 53 Vette was a 
chance GM was taking. Paid off, though, it seems.  For never quite caught 
up, but for 3 years there, it might have happened.
