Is it safe to run a ten foot, 3/8 inch rubber pressure hose (brass  
connections on both ends, rated to 300 psi) between the shut off  
valve and the air pressure regulator, or does this need to be solid  
pipe up to the regulator/ filter combination?  The tank's relief shut  
off switch kicks in at 155 psi.

P.S. How much larger than the air tool hose does this tank to  
regulator connection need to be?
