<VV> Tail light gremlin

I am looking for some advise from some of you electrical wizards..I have a 1965 Monza convertible whose tail lights are on any time the key is on. I have recently installed a new rear wiring harness, sockets, and bulbs. Other than this problem, all the other lights function properly. I don't see any defects under the dash. Any idea where to start looking for a short?
