On page 13 of the Ludvigsen Library Series, Corvair by Chevrolet, there is a
picture dated 1959 showing an experimental Corvair engine with 4
carburetors. Take if for what it's worth. I wasn't there.

Hi Everyone,

I went to BJ Wholesale Club today looking for tires for the 65 Convt. The

guy behind the counter ask what the tires for. He told me in 1962 he worked

at Rochester Products here in Rochester. His job was to install carbs on

new experimental engines and in 1962 the engineers sent a vair engine asked

him to install 4 carbs and to see how they work. The project was completed

and he didn't hear anything until the 140's came out later. Has anyone

heard about this before?
