All,
While compiling my military photos from my days stationed at Suffolk County Air Force Base, I was talking to Ed via email. He related a story to me about the particular F-101B Voo Doo he was assigned to and flew the entire time he was stationed at Suffolk County.
Well after he retired from the Air Force that very aircraft made it's way to California and is on display at the Aerospace Museum at McClellan Park which used to be McClellan Air Force Base.
Ed said it missed him and that's why it came to California!
