Ron, you're right in that there is no strict definition of a classic. As far
as the CCCA's definition, I'm afraid I have to disagree with it. I think the
68 AMX is a classic, as well as a number of other cars of that era,
including the Corvair. Limiting Classic's to pre-1949 is absolutely absurd,
IMHO. That's like the Street Rodder crowd limiting "Street Rod" to pre-1949.
Totally absurd. A 1948 Ford pick-up can be a Street Rod, but an identical
1949 Ford pick-up can't!

Oh well, I guess that's what makes us all individuals.
