The U-tube manometer is not the tricky part of this operation -- it is
using it.

As in, what is your vacuum source? You need manifold vacuum, right? Not
ported -- or would you want ported, or do you just hang the tube down
the carb throat, or tape it across the top? If it is not below the
butterfly, where do you get your vacuum from? Do you want to sync at
idle or a full throttle? Generally this sync is done at idle or near
idle, so would you need an artificial venturi like in a Uni-Syn?

Depending on what you do above, do you disconnect the cross manifold tube?

I would be interested in stories of successfull implementation on a Corvair.

Thanks,

Bill Strickland
