What a GREAT Story!!

When you read a story like this it warms your heart and makes you understand
what this hobby is all about. People helping people. I think the thing I
Love about this hobby is everyone is on the same level. It don't matter if your
a millionaire or a young kid just starting out, they all get helped the same.
It's great. We need more stories like this. Our club has what we call the
Corvair Cavalry. We go out and help any member get his car going and rune it up.
We pool our parts and the only charge is if they want to donate money to the
club treasury that's fine. If they don't have it that's fine too. It's
been a great thing for the club and also put a few more Vairs on the road that
would still be sitting. We had one Club member that had a 61 that barely ran.
We went out and fixed the carbs installed a different dist and gave it the
once over. Now it runs great and he now is out club vice president. And he
drives it with a big smile. Again Hats off to all those that rescued the Corvair.

I will be printing this story in our monthly club newsletter if that's ok
with the people evolved. If that's ok someone please let me know.
Again thanks!!
Ron T
