<VV> new rear-engine VW (NO CORVAIR)

Automobile magazine (June 2007) reports that VW will build a new 
water-cooled, rear-engine car with the "engine situated on top of the transaxle and a 
radiator in the nose."  The article quotes an unnamed executive as saying they 
will install stability control "to address handling issues."  Stayed tuned.
