Hi guys,

Back again with my two cents. My ultimate vair would be one that is
mechanically restored with whatever mods need be done to have modern day reliability
so I could drive it to work and never have to call in with car trouble. My
car is one my father bought from the dealership at which he worked in '66.
It stayed in our family until college then on to a family friend who kept it
until I bought it back from him. 33,000 OM and no restoration of any kind.
All original. I would guess that this car is worth about as high as it's
model specific brothers and sisters could possibly be but......... All other
cars seem to gain value with restoration. This becomes a bell curve of some
sort. Age must counteract originality at some point because it compromises
reliability I guess. I don't know. Happy vairing.
