<VV> Turbo Fuel Return Tees

Hmmm. My '66 Corsa turbo came with a metal nipple on the fuel
filler. I bought the car in '68 (second owner) and know the original
owner didn't make such a mod. I was expecting to find the rubber "T"
when I restored the car, but was pleasantly surprised to find the
metal nipple. It needed to be resoldered since it was a bit loose,
probably due to my flexing it while pulling the gas tank, but that
was no problem.

Does anyone have any idea when GM made the change? My Corsa was made
in October '65 at Willow Run.

I certainly doesn't look like a hard thing to make from scratch --
just some small diameter steel line, bent to fit in the space
available; drill a suitable hole in the filler next pipe, and solder
in place. The hardest part would be draining and pulling the
tank. I don't think soldering on a gas filled tank would be that
good an idea. :-)
