<VV> Starter bendix?

Corvairs do not use a Bendix spring.... GM  Rachet drive as in all 60's GM
products

Starter is behind left rear wheel... 2 bolts... 3 wires...

May I suggest just getting a complete unit from one of the many corvair
Parts vendors.....quick [overnight if needed]  and you are sure to get a
correct part....

depending on how many " Moons"   starters can be nightmares..
