Yes laptop is easier to travel with than a desktop!

But, by the time I attach a good feeling keyboard and number key pad and 
monitor and trackball mouse, I may as well keep the desktop unit also 
for home work!

I find laptop keyboards a pain, especially those whose touchpad I can't 
turn off and keep changing the cursor without my knowledge. Yes, I do 
not properly touch type.
