i have easily modified turbo heads to take real chokes before, but not 61  
heads.
if the grooves are cut in the heads (they are on turbo heads) you can see  
where to drill .  you need a long drill.  sorry , that's all i  remember , its 
been a long time.  you need the choke parts off a later head  to do this of 
course. there are about 3 kinds , but i doubt it makes any  difference.  i guess 
if i was you , and it is really turbo heads (check the  head numbers) i would 
drill a 1/4 inch hole down thru using the shroud hole as  the locator..
good luck.  i wish my 61 was as easy to do.  i think i will build  a new 
motor for it to take care of that problem.
