As most folks probably know, the only other vehicle
being built at Willow Run in 1969 was the Nova.  I
assume Fisher's side of the plan was also only
building the two cars.

By looking at the Corvair Body manual, you notice that
the Corvairs came from Fisher pretty complete, missing
the drivetrain, suspension, steering components, etc.
but mostly complete otherwise, with emblems, molding,
carpeting, etc. already installed.

Nova bodies, on the other hand, were less complete and
needed more work on the Chevy assembly line side of
the factory.

Therefore, if it's a body component that's incomplete,
you're right that it's at Fisher not Chevrolet.  It
would be most interesting to observe how Fisher put
those Corvair bodies together!
