I have not myself.
But a friend of mine bought the kit you mentioned and has been doing a bunch 
of parts.
He did a lot of the backing plates and some suspension parts for his street 
rod and 65 Cuda.
Also has done some aluminum intakes and valve covers.
Doing it with an old kitchen oven in his garage,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Results?
Amazing!

He tells me its simple........

One of these days I'm going to prep some Corvair pieces and try it out with 
his setup.
