<VV> late 'vert in San Francisco

There's a gal in San Francisco's west side with a late 'vert, parked  
over a year ago. Now, with a new battery, it doesn't crank. Lights,  
radio ok. Click, no crank. I plan to check her starter cables and  
make sure the battery connections are sound.
    Anyway, she (the car, not her) needs a bit more attention than I  
can give. Is there anyone out there who can look and give advice?
