I must sing its praises as an upper end engine lubricant and cleaner.
When I bought my '66 Monza last September it had barely been used or
maintained over the past 5-10 years. Needless to say it ran very poorly.
It smoked, clattered, pinged, rattled and ran awfully.

Using Marvel Mystery Oil in the crankcase and the as a fuel additive
really made a difference. The engine's smoking and clattering
disappeared and after a tuneup, the car ran much, much better.
Particularly as I only run short distances on this island, I add some
every so often to help lubricate the valves.

I've also used it in my Land Rovers to quiet tappet noise. It's a simple
but effective product. There are probably others that work as well, but
this is one whose success I have experienced.
