<VV> Relay for heater blower

I finally got my heater blower to work with the relay for high speed. Remember, the blower would not shut off with the ignition switch on high speed but would on low and immediate speeds.
I had the wrong relay. I believe I had a SPST relay and should have had a SPDT relay. One has 4 terminals, the other five. I finally located a NAPA AR 102 relay that Larry Claypool recommended in the Tech Guide. I believe it has been discontinued but my local NAPA store had one on the shelf. It only has four terminals too, but it has a metal case that serves as a ground so you don't need the 5th terminal as you do on the plastic relays. The blower works fine and does shut off with the ignition switch at all speeds. I want to thank especially Bob Helt for his patience and help, and also Bill Strickland, Smitty Smith, Jim Bannister, Bill Loftin, Lonny Clark, and others for their advice. I can send a photo of this installation to any one interested. Dennis Dorogi
