now i am trying not to look too stupid here , but i just today did some work
on a 63 greenbrier with a battery box on the RIGHT side rear that looks like
a factory , or darn good bodywork job. i always wanted something that nice
on my rampy , but never saw one before. it is a 63 in rough shape...(but
driveable?) 4spd that had deluxe trim at one time , because it has long shaft
controls. i had to remove the gas heater , and change the instrument cluster. it
seems to run ok and drive ok. it does have a ticky lifter that might go
away.
i took decent pictures of the vin number and that battery compartment. the
tray is missing , and no wires are there.the mount edge for the tray is there.

BUT it sure looks factory . any comments or history? the van is in utica
ny ,now for sale , if not already sold.
it has a lot of "issues" but i suppose you could bring it back better than a
lot i have seen.
the vin is 3R126S104836, it has a current ny registration on it.
i can share the pictures i took today to historians out there.
regards, tim colson
