I think you need to bolt together a pair of block halves (no guts needed)
and connect them to the diff and rear engine mount to keep everything lined
up.

Let me rephrase this - WITH a tranny and diff in place but no engine.

Hi,

It's been quite a few years since I had an early model Corvair and I am
thinking about an engine-less 62 I have heard about.

Question - can the earlies, specifically a 62, be flat-towed without an
engine in place?

Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas!

Bob
