<VV> Cruise control

I have cruise control on both my '66 turbo convertible, and on my '65 Corsa convertible.  I purchased the turbo cruise control from J. C. Whitney many years (decades?) ago and installed it using the magnets wrapped around one of the half shafts.  This system works on either std or auto transmissions.  My other cruise control was on the car when I got it, and uses the coil negative wire to sense engine speed, and hence mph.  This one only works on a standard transmission car.
 
I doubt that any of these kits are available today.
