<VV> gas heater

I still haven't fiddled with the points yet, but today I started up, no 
heat, manually grounded the neg terminal of the coil, got it to fire up, and 
it kept running and heat cycling by itself all the way to work (about 
1/2hr). Same thing after work...
Clarks lists a "spark intensifier" for first design spark plugs. The car is 
fairly early production, so I wonder if that's something I need...
