<VV> engine combo questions

i just found a new set of std rod and main bearings NOS napa stuff in my  
"stash" .  any one need them at $140plus shipping (postal money order  please) 
from 13112?  this is about $40cheaper than clark's current  price..
 i am searching for all my engine components trying to make 2  engines.  one 
for the rampy using 020 pistons with octane cut and 110 heads  , 140 exhaust 
manifolds with dual mufflers.
 i also found a nos set of 020 pistons and cylinders , without  the octane 
cut.  i hope to use those with 95 heads, 140 exhaust manifolds  with dual 
mufflers  in my 64 coupe with factory a/c.
when i get done with all of this i will end up with at least 1 , probably 2  
sets of good 140 heads to sell. both are on engines running good right  now. i 
think  i need to run the small valve heads on my powerglide  cars to get 
better low end torque. more as i get going on this  project.  
 what i am looking for here is comments on these combinations ,  especially 
if you have done this.  i probably have , but cant remember if i  was happy 
with it. 
 the rampy is running 3:55 with a powerglide the 64 is powerglide and  not 
sure yet of ratio on differential , because i have not climbed under it. i  bet 
on 3:55. it's in good storage waiting patiently. the lakewood is getting its  
octane cut 030 engine soon.
 oh yes, i plan on 9889 cams in all of these.  
meantime i am not sure what to do in my spare time.
