three 4 speed 'vairs, and  two of them were '63 Greenbriers...  one a '65

What's the fuss all about?  I put a "66 Saginaw box into a "65,  changing 
only the input shaft and leaving two of the six mounting bolts  unfastened. I had 
no trouble with the shifter.  I used the "66 front  mounting bracket--I 
think-- but it was in the '70's so my memory may be at  fault.
