Unfortunately, there's a wealth of FREE info on the net (and here on VV), in the Chapters, and from the vendors. Some people have told me that our Chapter newsletter is so good that they don't need to even get the Communique! (pat myself on the back for THAT one)...I personally look forward to getting MY copy each month and I've been a staunch Corsa member since becoming interested in these quirky little cars, but this is the unfortunate truth that faces Corsa and those trying to entice members. The WIIFM syndrome...What's In It For Me??? 

Membership has to have a return on investment for most people, if they don't see a tangible value to becoming a member, then why become one? Oh, and also, one member of my chapter just recently complained about the dues costing as much as it did. Some folks are retired and perhaps living on a fixed income...granted, "if you want to play, you need to pay", but I'm just bringing this up as one of the arguments...

just join corsa? i would suggest any corvair owner to join/. theres a wealth of info available to any vair owner,  available contacts fer tech problems. etc... classified ads.. area vair owners to keep vairing. why not have this resource .. i think its great  trey in cuba n.y.  1960 v8 vair
