<VV> reasons to be a Corsa Member

In the at least 13 years that I have been a member of Corsa the main benifits that I received from my membership were limited to the Communique.  This includes the contacts to vendors, events in my area, tech articles, the tech manuals, and other members rides like the Lost Cause.  I think that I have gotten my moneys worth from just these things mentioned above.  This is just an opinion though and everyone knows that opinions are like onions, just keep peeling until you get the one you want.
Now for a real tangible benifit to belonging to Corsa that just happened to me.  A year ago I ordered some parts via snail mail and check from a vendor.  I received some parts in a timely manner as I had in the past.  Other parts were "back ordered".  After several months and not hearing anything about the parts a contact with the vendor was made and again I was informed that they were still "back ordered".  To make a long story short after several calls and e-mails to the vendor a year had past and still no "back ordered" parts.  I contacted my Regional Director and he gave me the contact info for the Corsa Representative that acts as arbitrator in these matters were you are a Corsa member, the other party advertised(s) in the Communique, and some other criteria.  After contact with Larry (arbitrator) I received my parts with a check for the item that was not in stock in less than two weeks.  The money that this service saved me (by not purchasing the parts again) I can easily pay for many years of dues to Corsa.  What a great benifit if you should need it.  Hopefully others will not need this service, but if you do then you have it from Corsa.
