when setting the points with a feeler gauge at 16-19, the dwell (digital) is
reading around 22. i have set the dwell at 31.9 (manual says 31-34) and timing
is "where it should be" this 31.9 reading requires the point gap to be less
than 16. the car seems to start and run fine. has anyone had better success
with different dwell and timing? am i doing any damage with the less than 16 gap?
also fyi this is a powerglide car. thanks, jim
