John,
    Actually Garrett was formerly owned by Signal Oil  and Gas which merged 
with Allied Chemical to form Allied Signal Corp.  The  latter bought Bendix to 
become Allied Corp which then joined forces with  Honeywell and is now called 
simply Honeywell.  So Garrett is now part of  Honeywell.  At least until the 
next merger.<GGG>
