<VV> Stud Removal

I have read some on stud removal and tried some of the suggestions, like 
double nut, applying a little heat to the stud or event a little warming of the 
block, but what next when you have sheared it off. Sure could use a suggesting

  Smitty Says:   Unfortunately VV does not pass pictures and other attachments.  Other than taking the block to a machine shop I can't offer any more than these others have.  My big question for answering the post is, Why were you trying to pull the stud in the first place ?  I have been verbally assisting a new Corvair owner and he called me one day to say he had the engine all torn down and was having trouble getting the last couple of head studs out.  I about had a heart attack, as that is one of the last things you want to do to good studs.
