I'm trying to collect information about the modifications that Bill Corey made to Corvairs in the early 60s, just after Corvairs appeared on the automotive scene. One of the modifications offered by Bill Corey was "a matched set of Armstrong shocks." These were apparently specially valved shocks provided by Armstrong. (Armstrong was, and is, a manufacturer of high performance shocks.) So, to the question: Does anyone have any information, such as part numbers, for the shocks? Does anyone have an old set of shocks? Eventually, I plan on compiling an article about Bill Corey and the cars he produced. For now, this is a start.
