Nope, the lever extends about 3/4 to 1" inch down from the horn button.

If my memory serves me correctly I think the lever for the tele wheel is
fairly small and the chrome wedge that appears on top of the column is
to large.  The lever only extends a quarter inch or so toward the dash
from the horn button. You will have to get a straight on shot of the
wheel or a lot closer up side shot to be sure.
