LATE MODEL INTERIOR COLOURS:
 
Hi everyone,
 
I live in Australia where I am currently half way through a complete and very detailed restoration of our 1965 factory air conditioned Monza convertible. The car was originally white with a white interior. I wrote an article about its conversion from left hand drive to right hand drive that appeared in the April 2008 CORSA Communique.
 
We are going to change the interior colour to 'RED' and the exterior body colour will be BLACK. My question is, can some one help an Australian Corvair owner in establishing the correct shade of interior red for the dash and interior door areas?
 
I will be ordering a complete red interior from Clarks and expect I could simply match the painted areas to the vinyl colour. I expect the interior painted areas would be finished in a semi gloss finish red.
 
Can anyone offer any comments or assistance?
