<VV> Video help

I am looking for someone to video tape the track event at Putnam park. I have the camera and tripod but I need someone with experience that knows how to shoot with a consumer video camera.
I have an in car system but I want some exterior shots of the action and my car on track.
My wife does well with the still camera but needs work with video! GGG!
