But what person in their right mind would order an extra-cost Corsa with
only a 3 speed manual?? I would never have believed it until I went to NYC to
look at a beautiful 140 Corsa convertible many years ago and I saw only 3
speeds on the shift lever. I thought it was in error until the owner confirmed
it WAS only 3 speeds and when I drove it I found out it was certainly only 3
speed. I definitely would have bought it anyway (could have switched to a 4
speed) but the owner finally decided he didn't want to sell it.
So, you're right, a 4 speed WAS optional on Corsas.

Posi wasn't standard on Corsas (or any other model). Not only that,
neither was the 4-speed transmission. Stock for Corsas was the three
speed, just like everyone else.
