<VV> front sway bar bushings LM

the oval shaped bushings on the end of each of the front stabilizer bar.

should they stand upright or lay flat in the clamped connection?

note to self: next time I do this I will install the stabilizer hangers first then put the tank back in. Was trying to slide those 2 1/4" bolts and that was tough. Two, should have replaced the round metal cylinders inside the bushings too. Oh well, live and learn...
