maybe a cylinder filled with gas and "hydraulicked"  pull all plugs  and 
crank it.  make sure you pull coil wire also so spark is not flying  near the gas 
spraying out the plug holes.
THEN fix the real problem, possible high float level or bad needle and  seat? 
  check carefully!
then you may also have to change the contaminated oil. (level high and  
smells like gas)
