Always wore a Seiko as an every day watch, since my first self-winder  bought 
in Japan on R&R from Vietnam. The first one lasted about 15 years -  Others, 
no so long. Now day/date electrics. Comfortable and easy to read for old  
eyes. They do get beat up, though.I have a gold tone Pulsar electric for  dressier
