That depends on what Timex you've got and what it was intended for; Timex  
made the Sinclair computer for the American market; not comfortable as a typing  
machine, but it was intended to make the U.K. computer-literate, and it was  
cheap enough that anyone who had a Telly and a Cassette recorder could learn  
BASIC on it.
