Only the rear covers from the 60-63 stop at the 16 degree mark. - Jim

Guess what?   I have a 60-63 rear cover.  I cleaned it and it only  
goes to 16 - no if, ands, or buts.  This had to have been put on by  
my dad originally or the guy who did the original (doomed) rebuild as  
I used the original parts in this area when I did the second  
rebuild.  Amazingly, this wasn't caught by the club members who  
helped me with the second rebuild during the reconstruction or the  
setting of the timing after putting the engine in.  What are the  
implications of this parts mismatch?
