BIG  PROBLEM -- while this method certainly does work to install them, 
it is also one of the precursors of carpal tunnel syndrome -- NEVER hit 
things with your hands that you can hit with a proper tool, like a 
rubber hammer, rock, or BFH!

Also stay away from steel handled hammers when framing up that new shop 
(use wood or fiberglass) , don't use your hands as impact drivers on 
your wrenches, get a machine if you have to milk more than a couple 
goats / cows / sheep / llamas, learn to use an "ergo" keyboard, etc.

Take care of your hands, unless you have a set of spares in the closet
