P.S. And yes, I have read wiki and seen what it says about what I say below, 
and I know it is only partly in agreement with it. But on this occasion I 
will prefer not to go with wiki (it ain't infallible), because I have a 
large number of authoritative motoring books (on paper only, unfortunately) 
which support what I am saying - it's where I got the info from in the first 
place (circa 1968!).

And it's not in doubt that sedans can have pillars or no pillars, as long as 
they have one row of seats behind the other.
