To make a long story short, my first ride in a 'Vair was a rental (from  
Phoenix to Tucson and back) shortly after Nadir came out with "Unsafe at any  
Speed."  I had had to rent a car because my personal transportation was  getting 
old and unreliable, and I wanted to find out for myself  just how  much BS 
Ralphie was putting out in his attempt to get government to control the  auto 
industry.  The results--the next car I bought was a 'Vair, and every  car I have 
bought since has been a 'Vair.  'Nough  said.
