I believe the answer is that your email client (e.g., Outlook, 
Thunderbird, Eudora, etc.) is sending emails to VV as HTML and not just 
plain text.  When that happens, the content is stripped out.  
Unfortunately, however, the subject line still makes it through.  It 
happens to me every time I try to do something fancy like include an 
indent in the middle of the email.

What I was trying to do in my post was to include a picture of the rail 
car that Guy brought to our attention.  My original post was as follows:

In my other life, I am also a toy train collector.  For those who are 
unfamiliar, MTHi is the second largest toy train manufacturer in the 
U.S., after Lionel.
