So I stopped by another Kragens and, today, I picked up my order of the
AC Delco plugs - which were NGKs inside. I hope they work okay! This
Saturday I will find out what the OEM plugs were used by GM back in 2000!

The rest of the story

I just changed out the plugs on my wifes Olds Intrigue at 113K miles. The
original ( I am certain) plugs, were, indeed, the same NGK plugs that I
have now found as the replacements at every source. No A/C plugs were ever
made for that motorl (3.5L DOHC V6) , I guess.

PS - It does run better. - But what a job!! But considering the length of
time these plugs lasted, I will never have to do it again. Much to my
dismay, this motor does not use any sparkplug wires at all, the coils mount
directly on the plug. I sure hope nobody adapts that trick to the Corvair motor!
