NOTHING I FOUND REALLY WORKS EXCEPT TIGHTER A BIT, LOOSE A BIT AND CONSTANT WORKING BACK AND FORTH. SOMETIMES IT HELPS TO GET THE ENGINE HOT AND THE THREADS OPEN UP A LITTLE. DONT PUT THEM IN HOT AND TORQUE TO THE BOOK.

I USE ANTI SEIZE FOR INSTALLATION.

Subject: <VV> A SIMPLE QUESTION.

I know it will sound silly but, does anyone have a special way of removing spark plugs that lessens the problem of stripping the threads out? Tighten slightly first, and then out? Penatrating oil? I ask because I am going to start on one of the vairs to be ready for the 50th in Oct, and that is the one thing that REALLY bothers me. I guess it is because every vair I have driven had at least one cyn that was partly stripped. I am not so worried about Conan, but the verts plugs have been in there at least 15, if not 20 years, and I don't want to worry about heli-coils, unless I have to. Also, when I go back with the new ones, is there a coating you can put on the plugs to make removal easier? Thanks BRUCE
