Arend,
     How did you calibrate your gauges?  I did mine with a laboratory thermometer in a heated SILICONE OIL bath at 350 to 400 degrees F.  Do NOT use a petroleum oil bath for this unless you like playing "Russian Roulette".
     The other question is where is the sender located?  In the stock Corsa location at the bottom of the engine?  Under the spark plugs?
     Both of these factors greatly influence the gauge reading you are getting.
