That's been in the back of my mind as well.  The top mounted  oil cooler is 
obviously doing it's job (too) well if your oil temp is only  180F 
(certainly not 180C oil temp right?--then cylinder head temps of 500F would  be 
right:)).  How are you going to keep the water vapor from condensing in  the oil 
if the oil only gets to 180F?
