It's all about customizing cars in the manner that you like. Certain ethnic
groups do different things to their cars, I like the looks they get, I
wouldn't care to own it but I like the different looks. I have wagon wheels
on the Vert, 17 in back and 16 in the front. I think it looks good and could
care less if anyone else does....

 In all fairness, big rims and low profile tires work GREAT for serious
performance machines. Meaning NOT Escalades, RWD Impalas, ANY SUV, Civics,
etc...

A set of 17s on a Corvair, with the PROPER tires and rim width, should
enhance handling and cornering substantially.

That's exactly why I call 'em "wagon wheels". Of all the stupid fads... I'm
hoping they don't stay around any longer than (for example) the portruding
"roller skate" wheel fad, if that.
